A short-term crisis residential service to help stabilize someone experiencing a mental health crisis.
What Is a Crisis Residence? #
Our short-term residential crisis care can help stabilize someone having a mental health crisis so they can avoid hospitalization. For others, the service can decrease the length of hospitalization. After your discharge from an inpatient facility, we help you or your loved one successfully transition back to your community.
The crisis residential service provides intensive, round-the-clock personalized support by our highly trained staff, with:
- Consultation and clinical oversight from psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Licensed social workers and professional counselors to provide treatment coordination
- Crisis residential counselorsÂ
What Are Crisis Residential Services? #
Our crisis staff collaborates with providers who are currently involved with your treatment.
You or your loved one will continue daily routines, including treatment by community providers. And we make every effort to link you to other services offered by JGPH or other community providers.Â
